I deleted one and installed 3 more for a total of 6 but only 3 are showing, not even the one that showed up earlier is showing. When I initially installed the movies, I had installed 4 of them and all 4 showed u. I stopped Plex from running then restarted it but nothing. I checked everything: space allocation (I do not have a quota), permissions, everything. For some reason, the rest of the movies and music is not showing. I then log into Plex (by clicking on 'Open' from the installed Apps) or going directly to the website, but out of everything, I am only seeing 3 movies and 4 CD's (the m4a and not mp3). Four of the music CDs are in m4a format and the others are mp3. I copied 6 movies to the media folders and 6 CD's to the music folder so I can test it. They also suggested I can create folders within those to categorize the media (comedy, drama, documentaries for movies and blues, jazz, rock for music etc.). For example 'movies', 'music', photos' etc. #PLEX NOT SEEING NEW FILES HOW TO#I watched videos on how to install the media files and they suggested going to 'File Station' - click on 'Plex' - then 'Library' - and then create the media folders there. It has the same rights as an admin and has my email. I have an Admin account and also an account with my initials that was setup when I configured Synology and installed DSM. I am running Plex on a Synology NAS DS1019 with 40TB of storage. ![]()
